A favourable regulatory framework due to the quality of supervision provided by the Commissariat aux Assurances (Insurance Commission)
The Commissariat aux Assurances is the official regulatory body for the insurance sector in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. It controls, regulates and defines investment rules applicable to life insurance policies. Its role is to create a competitive regulatory environment, while at the same time establishing prudential rules to safeguard life insurance policyholders.
